Eurovision Song Contest ideas

In 1988, the Icelandic entry for the Eurovision Song Contest, held that year in Dublin, Ireland on April 30, was Beathoven with the song “Sokrates”.

The artists were Sverrir’s namesake, Sverrir Stormsker who wrote the song and lyrics, and Stefan Hilmarsson who did the singing. Sverrir (the designer here) got the idea that he could design the stage clothes for the two. He did some sketches and had a meeting with the two of them. In the end, Sverrir Stormsker made a deal with a clothes shop to supply them with the clothes so nothing came out of this. The ideas that Sverrir (the designer) drew up and showed the two were quite okay though.
